Back to Cusco

After visiting the Sacred Valley and seeing the Inca sites, we headed back to Cusco for a day or two of recovery.

One of the more interesting things that happened was Manuel organised for us to go out and learn how to make Pisco Sours, except we'd already done that, so we learnt how to make Passionfruit Sours instead. I apparently make a very potent one.

Then I had a day to wander around by myself and Cusco is a really good place to wander around. Lots of stairs, but lots of interesting places to poke your head. Unexpected things around corners, new sights here and there, it's the reason why I like travelling.

We were suppose to visit Sacsayhuaman. We did go up there, but it started to bucket down and after waiting for it to stop for fourty minutes we gave up and headed back down to town and spent the rest of the afternoon playing cards. Life is tough.
