It was very relaxing, but there was a shortage of things to do: lounge on the beach, drink, eat and be merry. Unfortunately I'm not too big on eating and drinking and I tend to be paranoid about sunburn on the beach, however its a good place to let the batteries recharge.

We went snorkeling. A full day on a boat. We visited a coral garden, shark alley and Hol Chan, a gap in the reef. Well, worth it, swimming with sharks was amazing, rays feel so weird against your skin.

If you do go there, go for a walk beyond the main street, I found it a lot nicer seeing what goes on behind the scenes.
