Dolphins

When you mention dolphins, Switzerland is not a natural place to spring to mind. However, I happen to know someone (hi Frank) who is a trainer at Connyland. They happen to have dolphins.

I like dolphins.

I took him up on his offer to visit.

To be honest, I think it was closer to me wangling an invitation, but he then went out of his way to make me welcome and show me around. I got to play with the phins, way too tentative at first. Its a pity it wasn't warmer or I would have been getting a lot wetter in my playing.

I spent the night at the local pub. An interesting experience in the morning when I discovered my German was quite lacking. Then I got another morning at the park, got to have a photo op, then Frank dropped me off at the trainstation and it was back to Zurich, onto a plane and off to London.
